Dr. Jamie Molinelli Veterinarian

From an early age, Dr. Molinelli had a love for animals. She brought home many stray dogs, cats, and pigeons only to have her parents tell her to “take them back!” Her true inspiration was her childhood veterinarian in downtown Washington, D.C.

Dr. Molinelli graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. After a short career in mixed animal practice, Dr. Molinelli was a founding staff member of the Animal Emergency Center which is now the Pet+ER in Towson. Dr. Molinelli transitioned to private practice in 2000. Her focus has remained intensive care and internal medicine. To expand her horizons, Dr. Molinelli studied veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL in 2002 and became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2008. Dr. Molinelli combines progressive Western medicine and complimentary modalities, with an emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine. She believes this combination offers the most balanced veterinary care for her patients.

Stacey

Stacey

Veterinary Technician

Since middle school I have always enjoyed all different animals. Grew up around livestock, and small animals. During high school I got to explore more into the medical side of animal care and fell in love. I started with Equine studies, moving to college-based animal sciences, which led to my first Vet Med job as a kennel assistant. I've moved up from there to assistant in general practice, then to a technician in ER, neurology and Physical therapy practice.

Outside of work I enjoy traveling with my husband Mike and 2 kids. Outdoors, hiking, swimming, camping and the beach are our favorite places to be. I also love working with a rescue to be a foster mom to dogs and cats to find their forever homes.

Kris

Kris

Lead Client Representative

Growing up with many dogs and cats, Kris started talking about working in the veterinary field during the 5th grade. From first volunteer job at age 15, to accepting his first position as a veterinary assistant, Kris developed a strong interest for joining the medical team. From there, he quickly blossomed into a senior technician, dabbling in everything from preventative care, emergency medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and neurology.

After having to say goodbye to his oldest cat, Jazzy Girl, Kris realized there was more to pet ownership and companionship than he thought. From then, Kris became dedicated to improving communications between the client and the medical team. He knows that a strong and positive relationship with the pet owner allows for even better care for the pet. Kris has even taken the time to sit and speak with clients about making tough decisions.

When Kris isn't working, he can be found spending time with his partner and two bengals. Kris has also been a supporter of the performing arts and can be found singing, dancing and performing/teaching colorguard in his free time.

Ruthie

Ruthie

This inspired her to work directly with dogs by providing positive interactions, excellent care, and socialization. Since then, Ruthie worked in the animal care industry as the General Manager of several dog daycare and boarding facilities in Baltimore.

In her spare time, Ruthie enjoys long-distance biking and hiking. She also enjoys playing board games with her family as her cat, Shosh, supervises the fun. She's very excited to join the team at Belvedere Veterinary Center.

Melissa

Melissa

Client Representative

I was born and raised here in Maryland. I have lived in Anne Arundel County and Baltimore city. Everyone in my family knew from the time I could walk and talk that I would work in the veterinary field with animals. I was forever bringing all kinds of critters home. From feral kittens that I had climbed under a bush to rescue at the age of 5 to the frogs I tried to hand my Uncle at the age of 13-14. The baby frogs jumped out of my hands and my manly uncle screamed like a little girl. My family still talks about it.

It took me a long time to find a job that I was passionate about but when I started at a doggie daycare in 2014 my real-life journey and passion had been found. A year later I moved to a full-service animal hospital as a client care specialist and moved on to head receptionist in my tenure there. The clients became friends and family just as all their pets did. I’ve laughed and cried right along with them, and I miss them since leaving that practice. I started here at BVC in November of 2023 and am looking forward to expanding my family and friends' group.

When I get free time, I have so many things I enjoy doing it’s hard to fit them all in. Some nights I’m shooting pool league with friends, I could be sitting at home watching crime shows, or I can be found traveling the surrounding states to hang with my dad at a dirt race car tracking. It’s always fun to go help them in the pits and watch the cars going around the track. There are so many things that I enjoy, there is never enough time. Driving to and from work I listen to my audio books and block the rest of the world out. Once home I have a fiancé that always has some kind of project he wants help with. Plus, we have 2 black Bombay cats we adopted after their original owner could no longer care for and since I had talked the gentleman into adopting the boys as kittens, I felt like they were already my boys. Then a year later for Christmas I got Gene a puppy, Gracie Mae, she is now 6 ½ years old and spoiled rotten. I can’t imagine my life could get any better than this.
